The Colt SAA revolver is a famous piece of Americana, known a "The Gun that won the West”. The Colt Single Action Army which is also known as the SAA, Peacemaker and Colt .45 is a single action revolver. Its overall appearance has remained consistent since 1873. The revolver was popular with ranchers, lawmen and outlaws alike. Owners of the gun included Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Pat Garrett, Buffalo Bill Cody and Theodore Roosevelt.

Hand engraved guns add style and value but are a costly proposition. Pietta introduced laser engraving and produces some very striking results. They have the cut depth and fine detail traditionally only achieved with the vastly more expensive hand engraving. Here we have the full Pietta range.
